More and more I have come to believe that being godly includes, not just being health conscious, but being a health nut–in our culture, at least. I am officially a health nut. The staple of my diet at the moment is spinach. I eat mounds of it and love every forkful. For a more detailed explanation of my views on health and godliness, click here.

I don’t think sleeping on the floor was very healthy.

Bryan, your post is convicting to say the least. Thanks for reiminding me of such an important matter. I would love to live as long as my dad, preaching Christ. I’m doing a few things to try to stay in shape, but not nearly enough. L, P, and I are walking some, as you know, but I feel like I’m making slow progress. Start watching things closely when you turn 40. I really wish I had.

Bryan,
Spinach is disgusting. End of story.
But keep up the good blogging. Looking forward to seeing you.

I for one, think spinach is pretty good.
How long until you get back, Bryan?

Spinach? Gag me with ruffage. I don’t think I’d make it through life without cheeseburgers and fries.
Then again, my wife was a dietetics major, so I probably have an advantage at home.
But here’s my more serious question… how do you support this assertion from Scripture? I don’t see the New Testament making any significant assertions along these lines- but doesn’t it seem as though they would if it were such an important issue?
